I had a lot of fun this week except for the lack of sleep. I learned so much from all of the different speakers. I learned that for the most part you should try to find one area and just learn as much about it as you can. I also enjoyed hearing about where they thought journalism was heading and where they thought that it would be when we entered the field. I also learned a lot from the admissions speech that the dean gave. He told you what you needed to know but made it interesting so that you would remember it. I also liked how the dean interacted with the students. Most of the time the dean might give a boring speech and then you wouldn’t see them again but here he takes the time to talk to the students and even danced at the dance. This week was so much fun. I learned so much and met so many new people. I’m going to miss my group when we have to go home.

I really like spending time with my friends and listening to music. I’m really interested in journalism and hope to have a degree in journalism when I graduate from college.
